Unilever is proud of its Tea business, the biggest in the world, with world class purpose driven brands such as Lipton, PG tips and Pukka.Recently, Unilever decided to separate the Tea business to ensure it can best achieve its potential. Unilever is currently reviewing several options for separation, including a demerger, an initial public offering, a disposal or through partnership models. The process is expected to conclude by the end of 2021. The Tea businesses in India and Indonesia, and the partnership interests in the ready-to-drink Tea joint ventures will be retained.  

About Job/Role:

Based in Head office, the Sourcing Unit Manager will be a member of the Manufacturing Finance Team and  will report to the Rotterdam based Manufacturing Finance Lead in Group Supply Chain Finance. You will be the Finance Partner for a site and together with the site leadership team, will be responsible for the in-year site performance, major value interventions, savings delivery and financial controls. The role is accountable for keeping compliance of the site to the Tea division control framework.

Responsibility:

  • Assist the Key Account Manager in the development of strategy and account plans for selected customers
  • Assist in developing of Annual Visibility Plans (AVP) through Channel Business Team.
  • Execution of the strategy through implementation of AVP’s, customer workshops and assisting the Field Sales Team.
  • Follow-up of product listings with selected customers so that AVP/growth initiatives can be implemented at Field level
  • Build strong and progressive relationships through all levels with selected customers
  • Responsible for profitable growth with selected customers from Tea Co branded product portfolio, increasing usage inside Customer’s business.

Requirements :

  • Degree, preferably in sales and marketing.  
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Sales & Marketing of which 2 in a CD role
  • Experience within the beverages/ tea category 
  • Sales: Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Digital marketing/ demand creation – EG: Running online digital campaigns.
