BSL2 Laboratory Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Provide active inputs for institutional structuring of BSL2 labs.
- Create guidelines of BSL2 laboratory policy and strategy.
- Develop BSL2 lab standard operating procedures for priority infectious diseases.
Required Qualification
- PhD in related field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Hands on with molecular techniques like PCR ( multiplex, qPCR, RT- qPCR), Sequencing (3100 genetic analyzer/NG systems), genetic screening and counseling; mutational analysis; working knowledge of Bio-defense, DNA isolation, RNA extraction, Gene Targeting, reverse genomics, mapping techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
- luency in English required.
