Data Support Analyst (L1) job at Vela operating group-April 2021

Responsibility:

  • Assist with database maintenance by entering new or updating existing leads, customers, and account information.
  • Integrity must be maintained by verifying, reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data.
  • Monitor the Support Desk tickets for tier 1 support issues such as activation requests, registration issues, and download links, etc.
  • Assist with reviewing orders placed online, ensuring complete and accurate data is recorded in databases.
  • Monitor the Screening Events list. Obtain missing information if data is not sufficient to make a determination or refer to SECT when necessary.
  • Respond to requests for customers that wish to register with a public email address and create accounts when the information is provided.
  • Respond to requests from academic customers who wish to purchase software at a discount.
  • Log in to CRM chat during normal business hours and respond to any customer queries, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with public and private workshop administration by keeping accurate and complete records for attendees and other data needs as required by the instructors.
  • Assist with projects that coincide with database maintenance, e.g. rectifying state names in our order database.
  • Other projects and related tasks as needed.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Passionate about providing remarkable service
  • Superior problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box to ensure excellent customer service
  • Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in the English language
  • Working experience with business or ERP applications would be considered an asset
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Determination to learn and develop continually as the business grows
