Qualification & Experience
- At least a BS degree (16 years education) or equivalent, in any discipline.
- 15 years total work experience, with a minimum experience of 3 years as either (a) the head of a university or a reputable private sector or civil society organization or (b) at Grade 22 or equivalent in a public sector organization other than universities.
- A PhD degree is not required but will confer a significant advantage if from a high-quality university.
- Demonstrable evidence of high national and international recognition and networking.
- Familiarity with the functioning of higher education institutions, including relevant policies, laws, regulations, and institutional processes.
- A distinguished record of experience at the highest level of professional integrity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
