• Punjab Thalassaemia and Other Genetic Disorders Prevention & Research Institute is an initiative of Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Government of the Punjab. It aims for a Thalassaemia Major free Pakistan. PTGD was developed keeping in view the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the vision of the Government of Punjab. • 1) PhD, FCPS, MS, MD or equivalent qualification after MBBS from a university or institution recognized by HEC or PMC (preference will be given to candidates having required experience in a public sector organization);  or
• 2) PhD, MPhil, MSc in a relevant subject from a university or institution recognized by HEC or PMC (preference will be given to candidates having required experience in a public sector organization
