About: (IUB) Islamia University Bahawalpur

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a public sector university in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, which was originally established by His Highness Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi – V as the Jamia Abbasia in 1925. Jamia Abbasia was upgraded as Jamia Islamia in 1963. The Jamia Islamia was converted into a Chartered University as “The Islamia University of Bahawalpur” in 1975, by the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab under “The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Act 1975”.The University has five campuses. Abbasia Campus, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus and Khawaja Fareed Campus are located in Bahawalpur and two sub-campuses are situated in Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan.

Term & Conditions

1. Candidates applying in the discipline of Pharmacy will also submit copy of Registration Certificate of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP).
2. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable if the candidate holds a higher degree viz PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in entire academic career.
3. These posts are non-transferable and purely for respective / mentioned campuses only.
4. Candidate must submit transcript/detail marks sheet (both front and back side) of MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education.
5. The foreign qualified candidates should attach Equivalence Certificate from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
6. In case, degree has not been issued, a Certificate /Notification to that effect signed by the Controller of Examination (only) of degree awarding university might be accepted. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
7. All Quotas will be observed as per rule.
