Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute an optimal  strategy, pricing, availability, and cost prices to expand margin Work very closely with the acquisition and account management teams to ensure that any rate, volume requirements and service delivery levels are met as per commitment and any operational limitations are communicated in advance Ensure corporate pantry categories have the best assortment and competitive prices in the market through local sourcing Build a strong supplier base, negotiate and renegotiate optimal commercial terms. Provide insights, forecast demand and ensure consistent supply.  Ensure supply chain continuity and procurement of Fresh/Grocery/Office Supplies  Determine the most cost-effective and sustainable initiatives in the supply chain

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in supply chain operations or warehousing and logistics in the grocery / food industry
• Should have prior experience of category management and pricing
• Solid competitive intelligence to stay abreast of pricing and other service delivery T&Cs offered in the market
• Good knowledge of local tax laws pertaining to e-commerce sales for all provinces
• Comfortable being in the fast moving environment 
• Working knowledge of performance/operational metrics and ability to derive data based decisions
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and hands on attitude
