About Punjab Govt:

The land of 5-rivers, population-wise the largest, and once known as the granary of east,  Punjab is the lifeline of Pakistan.

To the North of the Punjab is the Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa Province and the federal capital area of Islamabad, to the North-East is Azad Kashmir, to its South-East is India (Indian Punjab & Rajasthan), to the South-West is the province of Sindh while to the West are Baluchistan and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

The province is predominantly on plain level, however, there are some hilly areas in the North-West and extreme South-West. There is also a plateau adjacent to the mountains known as the Potohar plateau and a desert belt in the South Eastern part known as Cholistan.

All the major rivers of the country namely Indus, Jhelum, Chanab, Ravi, & Sutlaj flow through this province. They originate from the Himalayas and pass from North-West to South-West. They are primeval in nature and the volume of water increases in the summer after the monsoon rains, resulting sometimes in floods.

Punjab is the most populous province of Pakistan. According to the 1998 census, the population of the province is 7,25,85,000. The population density is 353 persons per square kilometer as compared to the national figure of 164. It contains several major cities of the country: Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and Gujranwala.

About job/Role:

  • Ensures timely project completion with in specified time and budget.
  • Deals with the stakeholders in a manner that enhances their trust in the Authority.
  • Interprets the Project Contracts in a satisfactory manner protecting the interest of the Authority.
  • Ensure requisite technical back up to the project management team by coordinating with parallel departments.
  • Manages project the cash flow to achieve better results than forecasted.
  • Responsible for making the initial plan as well as continuous revision if necessary of the original plan
  • Establish effective schedule controls, budget & cost controls, reporting management, information management, document control, program control & contract administration.
  • Analyzed contract requirements, special provisions, terms & conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, policies & procedure.

Responsibility:

  • Reviewing & verification of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) of Consultants & Contractors.
  • Reviewing & verification of Escalation Payment Certificate (EPC) of Contractors.
  • Effectively managed Contracts based on FIDIC.
  • To carry out Schedule Risk Analysis by developing risk model and duration uncertainties using Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) software.
  • Prepare Project Risk Management Framework, System & Criteria and other risk management key documents
  • Preparation of Baseline schedule for monitoring and control.
  • Preparation and submission of EOT claims.
  • Managing the overall planning/scheduling functions of the project, including the planning team.
  • Responsible for supervision of all planning teams on site and monitoring them for daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensures execution of the project in the most efficient and safe manner by developing the construction procedures
  • Setting up a proper establishment at project sites i.e. placement of competent personnel well versed with the company system and control procedures.
  • Responsible for identifying HSE hazards on his project and subsequently minimize risk for loss prevention. Wherever required, assistance can be taken from QHSE in this regard.
  • Will be overall responsible for the execution and management of the projects.
  • Identifying the training needs of staff working under him and developing a comprehensive training plan for them.

Requirements :

Masters/Bachelors (Hons) or 16 Years of Education
