Unilever is proud of its Tea business, the biggest in the world, with world class purpose driven brands such as Lipton, PG tips and Pukka.Recently, Unilever decided to separate the Tea business to ensure it can best achieve its potential. Unilever is currently reviewing several options for separation, including a demerger, an initial public offering, a disposal or through partnership models. The process is expected to conclude by the end of 2021. The Tea businesses in India and Indonesia, and the partnership interests in the ready-to-drink Tea joint ventures will be retained.  

About Job/Role:

The incumbent will be the heart of all end-to-end payroll related activities, processes, and experiences in the tea division. You are hands-on and bring to the team strong operational excellence in executing best in class Employee relations, resourcing and HR operations.


Payroll Analyst Tea Division job at Unilever Pakistan-April 2021

Responsibility:

  • You will provide Joiner, Leaver and Movers information to the Payroll provider in accordance with the payroll calendar.
  • You will provide employee and Tea Division data changes to the payroll provider per the agreed payroll calendar (changes to non-statutory earnings, deductions, associated account numbers, changes to tax filing requirements etc)
  • Employee will be responsible for loading transactional data for payroll processing in line with the agreed payroll calendar.
  • You are responsible for approving the payroll schedule and the payment schedule using Payroll Workflow.
  • You are responsible for approving tax compliance reports for tax filing, abatement, and reconciliation purposes where applicable.
  • Its your duty to process final settlements for all leavers as per defined SOP

Requirements :

  • You have 3 years of HR Generalist experience including labor relations.
  • Good knowledge of local employment / labor laws
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, SuccessFactors)
  • Good administrative, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Meticulous attention to detail
