About Role/Job Purpose:
The IPE will have the responsibility for strategic positioning of UNDP police related interventions by providing policy advice in light of international policing best practices and producing quality and result oriented reports for the donors and UNDP. S/he will supervise and review the work of experts engaged for conducting surveys, studies, evaluations, and impact studies. S/he will support coordination with the UNDP country office team, UN Agencies and donor and represent UNDP in technical forums on the subject.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and policy advice to the program on law enforcement related interventions;
- Partnerships with the law enforcement agencies/institutions and concerned departments in finding sustainable solutions and anchoring of the project interventions;
- Coordination with the UN Agencies and donor;
- Produce quality result-oriented reports for UNDP and donors; and
- Review the work/products (surveys, assessments, impact studies, evaluations) of national and international experts engaged under the law enforcement component of the program.
Requirements :
- Ability to understand and apply fundamental concepts and principles of democratic governance and have basic knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
- Level 5: Originate: Catalyzes new ideas, methods, and applications to pave a path for innovation and continuous improvement in professional area of expertise.
