PROFESSOR PAEDIATRIC CARDIAC SURGERY / PAEDIATRIC CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY (BS-20)

Qualification/ Experience
- i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission and have post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or
- FRCS or Diplomat American Board or equivalent qualification in Paediatric Cardiac or Paediatric Cardiovascular or Congenital
- Cardiac Surgery recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission.
- If none is available with the above mentioned qualification then:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission and have post-graduate qualification of FCPS or MS or
- FRCS or Diplomat of American Board or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission in:
- a) Cardiac or Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery with four years’ experience, after post-graduation in Paediatric Cardiac
- Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an institution recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission; or
- b) Paediatric Surgery or General Surgery with six years’ experience, after post-graduation, in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or
- Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery from an institution recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission; and
- ii) a) Eight years’ combine teaching experience as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery; out of which three years’ teaching experience must be as Associate Professor Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery or an equivalent position in an institution recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission; or
- b) Nine years’ teaching experience as Assistant Professor Paediatric Cardiac Surgery or Paediatric Cardiovascular Surgery or an equivalent position in an institution recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission; and
- iii) Five research publications in the relevant Peadiatric Surgery specialty as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor
Age Limit
Male: 35 to 50 + 5= 55 years
Female: 35 to 50 + 8= 58 years
