Job Description

• Education: 16 years of qualification or higher in GIS/Space Science/Geo-informatics/RS&GIS/Geography or related discipline from HEC recognized institution
• Experience: 02 to 05 years of relevant experience in GIS/RS and Geo-spatial data management

Experience

• MS/M-Phill : 1 year(s)
• Masters/Bachelors (Hons) : 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing quality processes to ensure continuously appropriate/compliant operation of quality processes.
• interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures.
• responsible for GIS data layers’ accuracy.
• Analyze the GIS data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Collect and compile GIS data

Inspect GIS data to detect areas for improvement.

Amend / Update the GIS data according to the requirements

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

GIS Base data development and the data management

Quality Assurance of digitization and Spatial datasets.

Overseeing the planning and coordination of field activities to meet the outlined goals.

Produced spatial data and related products in accordance with the set standards.

Reporting writing of assigned products.

Report all activities, issues, and progress to the Survey Manager and Sr. GIS specialist.

Report to Sr. Specialist on results of quality activities of GIS Data.

Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as required within the scope of the position
