About Role/Job Purpose:

Job Responsibilities:
- The Curriculum Development Specialist (CDS) works with the Academics Team on the overall planning, design and content development of the English curriculum, resources and teaching support materials. The major contribution of the CDS is on development of the English textbooks and resources for primary grades at TCF.
- The Curriculum Development Specialist is also responsible for other projects related to academics working and school policy.
- Use a curriculum framework based upon international best practices in EFL instruction as a guiding document for all design and development. Make alterations to the framework, based on research, if necessary.
Requirements :
- Knowledge of English language instruction approaches
- Creativity to be able to write engaging content for children including stories
- Strong English writing, reading and speaking skills
- Ability to plan and organize activities within strict timelines
- Read and critically analyze data and situations
- Research and collate information
- Expertise with Microsoft Office
- Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with designers and program developers.
- Passion to stay current on educational content and teaching methods.
