The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is a professionally managed, non-profit organization set up in 1995 by a group of citizens who wanted to bring about positive social change through education. 25 years later, TCF is now one of Pakistan’s leading organizations in the field of education for the less privileged.

TCF made its first foray in TV-based edutainment in collaboration with Pakistan Television’s Tele-school and Federal Ministry of Education amid coronavirus school closures. Ilm Ka Aangan, a 45-minute long TV programme, engaged children through theme-based videos, activities, story-telling sessions by veteran actor Sania Saeed, physical exercise segments and much more. More than 6 million viewers tuned in across 4 channels every week.
