About Job role:
We are looking for a talented WordPress developer to join our team to help us enhance, optimize and improve our marketing site and be responsible for both front-end and back-end development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and design pages for marketing sites based on WordPress
- Implement new landing pages based on existing design themes
- Reduce the page load time across the website by making optimizations to scripts, images and animations
- Ensure optimal user experience and page load speed on desktop and mobile
- Customize WordPress plugins to achieve desirable results
- Improve the existing architecture of the WordPress instance by building modules for marketing to easily add content and make updates
- Develop and deliver multilingual versions of the existing website
- Implement SEO-related web tasks suggested by Content Marketers
- Create mirrored instances of the WordPress site hosted on other TLDs.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in developing and enhancing WordPress-based websites
- Proficient knowledge of WordPress framework, ability to develop/extend modules, create customized landing pages and integrate dynamic plugins
- Proficient knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript and at least one design framework like Twitter Bootstrap
- Working knowledge of design tools like Adobe Photoshop (or Illustrator, Sketch, XD)
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Expert understanding of latest trends in typography, color palettes, white space balance, iconography and other visual trends
