About Role/Job Purpose:
- The GSM leads the entire Geo team (approx. 35 FTE) and ensures that primary and secondary sales (VOL & VAL) objectives are regularly being achieved.
- He develops the ‘Route to Market’ strategy together with the Sales Director and ensures motif implementation.
- Manages performance of relevant stakeholders in the team, inclusive of direct reports, key accounts, and general customers
- Executes all CD agendas within the bounds of the geography
- Member of CD Field Execution Team working directly under the Field Sales Leadership

Job Responsibilities:
- Sets & advises on area-wise splitting of ambitious targets & monitors closely for performance, initiates timely corrective actions
- Ensures full implementation of RTM action plans as defined
- Develops an area/ territory / outlet coverage strategy in line with the overall Tea division Strategy
- Provides inputs into the central Channel/Category plans
- Reports all activities pertinent to our intellectual property rights and takes necessary reporting actions against copycats
- Drives talent agenda within the Geo team, by partnering with HR for recruiting top talent and consistently building required field level CD skills and capabilities. Creates a winning spirit within his/her team
- Ensures optimal resource utilization and consistent performance management
- Manages the value chain from turnover till RSP incl. distributor profitability and ROI
- Maintains good business relationships with distributors and key accounts through JBP
- Responsible for cash collection (locally manufactured products) with support from Finance
- Responsible for providing reliable inputs for short term forecast for S&OP incl. Risk & Ops
- Provides the leadership team with weekly updates on secondary sales across the channels / customers as well as market / competitor insights
- Drive the business to the desired ambition Underlying Volume Growth / Sales Growth.
- Uplift the Competitive visibility in Store.
- Coordinate with Distributor/Customer Operational plans / Executions.
- Negotiate with Customer for Joint Business planning.
- Have the acumen for Financial Matrix – Business Profitability / Gross Margin.
- Lead and drive the extended team – Build team & develop talent.
- Be accountable to uphold the business Key Performance Indicators.
- Redefine the process post execution analysis with strong analytical skills
Requirements :
- Commercial degree
- 2-4 years relevant field sales force / territory or Area management experience
- Entrepreneurial drive/ owner’s mindset
- Lead diverse teams + galvanize towards a common objective across teams
- Strategically influence overall go – to – market vision for Tea div in Pakistan
